With over 35 years of experience delivering value through data warehousing and BI programs, John O'Brien's unique perspective comes from the combination of his roles as a practitioner, consultant, and vendor CTO in the BI industry. As a recognized thought leader in BI, John has been publishing articles and presenting at conferences in North America and Europe for the past 10 years. His knowledge in designing, building, and growing enterprise BI systems and teams brings real-world insights to each role and phase within a BI program. Today, John provides research, strategic advisory services, and mentoring that guide companies in meeting the demands of next-generation information management, architecture, and emerging technologies.
Local to Denver, Myles McDonald is Hex's Head of Technology Alliances and has worked within this broader data ecosystem for the past 9 years. He's partnered with the largest hyperscalers and cloud providers to adjacent ISV's. Some of those partners include Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Google, and ISV partners like Fivetran and dbt.
Michael Tantrum is Director of Sales Engineering at Coalesce and a 30-year veteran of data warehousing and analytics architecture. He has helped organizations navigate every major shift in the industry—from legacy enterprise warehouses to modern cloud platforms powering analytics and AI. Today he works with data platform leaders to accelerate Snowflake adoption using automation and modern engineering practices. Michael lives in the Pacific Northwest where he enjoys woodworking and furniture making.
